This Privacy Statement describes how Austin AI, LLC ("Austin AI," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information — including mobile phone numbers — in connection with the M2O chatbot service available at m2o.austinai.io ("the Service"), which sends and receives SMS messages via Twilio.

1. Information We Collect

When you interact with the Service via SMS, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of the messages you send, and message metadata (such as timestamps and delivery status). We collect this information solely to operate the Service and respond to your inquiries.

2. Mobile Number Non-Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Mobile phone numbers are used only to deliver the messaging service you requested. We share phone numbers with our messaging service provider (Twilio) solely as necessary to transmit messages, and with no one else.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your use of the Service. The M2O chatbot is conversational: messages are sent only in response to a question or request you initiate. You will not receive unsolicited, recurring, or promotional messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier according to your mobile plan. Austin AI does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply to messages sent and received.

5. Consent and Opt-Out

By texting the Service, you consent to receive SMS replies to your inquiries. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the address below.

6. SMS Data Handling for End-Users of Client Deployments

Austin AI deploys the M2O chatbot on behalf of business clients. If you are messaging a chatbot operated for one of our clients:

  • Your phone number and message content are processed by Austin AI only to provide the chatbot service to that client, under the client's instructions.
  • Your mobile number and opt-in data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes — by Austin AI or through the Service.
  • Opt-out requests (STOP) are honored immediately across the deployment you are messaging.
  • Message logs are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then deleted.
  • The client you are interacting with may have its own privacy policy that additionally governs its use of your information.

7. Data Security and Retention

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect message data in transit and at rest. Phone numbers and message content are retained only as long as necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, and maintain opt-out records.

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. The current version will always be posted at m2o.austinai.io with its effective date.
